Our seminar will establish and prioritize your municipality’s future goals and provide you with a game plan that can produce results. We will help you assign individuals and/or groups to these projects for which elected officials have little time. These committees will be instructed in how to: do the research, explore funding sources, determine public opinion through public relations efforts, and provide the governing body with periodic progress reports.
Our Services Will Include The Following:
- General advice and telephone consultation with both elected and appointed officials on an as-needed basis.
- Jersey Professional Management will plan, organize and conduct all preparation work prior to the goal setting session including preparation of, and participation in, all information gathering sessions with:
- Elected Officials
- The Management Team (Department Heads)
- Supervisors and Staff
- Advisory Board and Commission Members
- We will plan, organize, facilitate, implement and conduct an all-day session with the elected officials, and other key officials as you choose, to establish priorities and determine guidelines for the coming year’s goals.
- We will review and analyze prior goal setting programs to determine their effectiveness and recommend ways for accomplishing unfinished goals or projects.
- The Consultant assigned to your project will be Daniel J. Mason, President of Jersey Professional Management. Mr. Mason is both a former mayor and Township Manager familiar with all forms of government. He possesses extensive knowledge and experience in all aspects of municipal government and specifically in the goal-setting process.
